1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SaathiMed's website (saathimed.com), mobile applications (SaathiMed App and DoctorSaathi App), or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised.
2. Description of Service
SaathiMed is an AI clinical intelligence platform that provides a comprehensive healthcare ecosystem including:
- For Patients (SaathiMed App): AI-powered symptom analysis and triage, health vitals tracking (BP, blood sugar, heart rate, weight, SpO2), medical report storage and analysis, medicine reminders and management, doctor consultation (telemedicine), family health dashboard, health social network (Saathi Connect), personalized diet plans, mental wellness tracking, and nearby healthcare service locator.
- For Doctors (DoctorSaathi App): Clinical decision support system, differential diagnosis widener (expanding from 2-3 to 7-8 possibilities), real-time specialist connectivity (10+ specialties), patient outcome tracking via WhatsApp, AI-powered prescriptions, EMR and practice management, and analytics for learning.
- For Investors (Saathi Hospitals): AI-powered decentralized hospital franchise opportunities with zero medical knowledge required.
3. Medical Disclaimer (No Doctor-Patient Relationship)
SaathiMed is NOT a healthcare provider. The AI-generated insights, recommendations, and information provided through our platform:
- Are for informational and educational purposes only
- Do NOT constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Should NOT replace professional medical consultation
- May not always be accurate, complete, or up-to-date
- Do NOT create a doctor-patient relationship between you and SaathiMed
If you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (102 for ambulance, 108 for emergency services) immediately. Do not delay seeking medical advice based on information from our platform.
4. User Eligibility
To use SaathiMed, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be at least 13 years old to create an account
- If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you represent that you have obtained parental or legal guardian consent to use the platform
- For DoctorSaathi accounts, you must be a registered medical professional with a valid medical council registration
- You must not be located in a country subject to Indian government embargoes or sanctions
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
If you are a parent or guardian creating an account for a minor, you are fully responsible for the minor's use of the Service and all associated activities.
5. Account Responsibility & Security
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials (username, password, OTPs)
- Providing accurate, complete, and current information during registration
- Updating your information to keep it accurate and current
- All activities that occur under your account, regardless of whether you authorized them
- Not sharing your account credentials with any third party
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are used in violation of these Terms, that are inactive for extended periods, or that we suspect have been compromised.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Misuse of Platform: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfering with the Service, or bypassing security measures
- False Information: Uploading false, misleading, or inaccurate health information that could affect AI recommendations
- Illegal Activities: Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws (Indian or international)
- Service Disruption: Interfering with other users' access, sending spam, or overloading our infrastructure
- Intellectual Property Violation: Reverse engineering, decompiling, or copying our AI algorithms, datasets, or proprietary technology
- Data Scraping: Using automated tools (bots, crawlers) to extract data from our platform without authorization
- Harmful Content: Uploading content that is defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or contains malware/viruses
- Fraudulent Medical Practice: Misrepresenting yourself as a doctor or medical professional if you are not
7. AI-Generated Insights & Clinical Decision Support
SaathiMed uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to generate health insights and clinical decision support. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated insights are generated based on available data, algorithms, and patterns — they may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions
- AI outputs should be verified with qualified healthcare professionals before any medical action
- Our AI learns from anonymized patient outcomes (closed feedback loop) to continuously improve accuracy
- We do not guarantee that AI diagnoses or recommendations will be correct, complete, or timely
- SaathiMed is not responsible for any misdiagnosis, delayed diagnosis, or adverse outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated insights
- Doctors using DoctorSaathi remain fully responsible for their clinical decisions — AI is a tool, not a replacement for professional judgment
8. User-Generated Content & Data Ownership
You retain ownership of any content, data, or information you upload to SaathiMed ("User Content"), including:
- Health records, medical reports, prescriptions, lab results
- Personal health information (symptoms, vitals, medical history)
- Profile information, photos, and other personal data
By uploading User Content, you grant SaathiMed a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Store, process, and transmit your content to provide the Service (e.g., AI analysis, sharing with doctors you consult)
- Use anonymized, de-identified data for AI model training and healthcare research (no personal identifiers attached)
- Improve our algorithms, clinical decision support systems, and overall platform performance
You represent that you have all necessary rights to upload User Content and that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
9. Doctor-Specific Terms (DoctorSaathi Users)
If you use DoctorSaathi as a medical professional, you additionally agree to:
- Verification: Provide valid medical council registration and undergo identity verification. SaathiMed reserves the right to verify your credentials and suspend accounts with invalid or expired registration.
- Professional Standard: Provide teleconsultations and clinical advice at the standard of care expected of your profession, consistent with NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines for telemedicine.
- Patient Consent: Obtain appropriate informed consent from patients before providing teleconsultation or accessing their medical records through our platform.
- Confidentiality: Maintain patient confidentiality as required by medical ethics and law. Do not share patient data outside of the platform.
- AI Acknowledgment: Acknowledge that AI-generated suggestions are aids, not definitive medical advice. You remain fully responsible for your clinical decisions.
- Advertising Restriction: Do not use the platform primarily for self-promotion or advertising of services outside the scope of patient care.
Violation of these doctor-specific terms may result in immediate account suspension and notification to relevant medical councils.
10. Telemedicine & e-Prescription
Telemedicine services through SaathiMed and DoctorSaathi are provided in compliance with the NMC (National Medical Commission) Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020:
- Doctors using our platform must follow all telemedicine guidelines, including appropriate case selection and documentation
- List A and List B conditions as defined by NMC guidelines must be observed
- e-Prescriptions generated must include all mandatory fields (doctor registration number, patient details, medicine name, dosage, duration)
- For follow-up consultations, doctors must have access to previous medical records
- Informed consent from patients must be obtained and documented
- Emergency cases must be referred to physical healthcare facilities immediately
SaathiMed is not liable for any telemedicine consultations, prescriptions, or outcomes resulting from doctor-patient interactions on our platform.
11. Third-Party Services & Integrations
SaathiMed integrates with various third-party services to deliver our platform:
- Google Cloud Platform (Firebase): Authentication, database, storage, notifications
- Agora.io / Twilio: Video and audio teleconsultation infrastructure
- Google Maps: Nearby healthcare facility locator
- DeepSeek API: AI symptom analysis
- WhatsApp Business API: Patient follow-up and outcome tracking
- Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics
Your use of these third-party services may be subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, features, and functionality on SaathiMed, including but not limited to:
- Software, algorithms, AI models, and source code
- Medical database (5000+ medicines, 1000+ diseases, 200+ diagnostic tests)
- Logos, trademarks, service marks (SaathiMed®, DoctorSaathi®, Saathi Hospitals®)
- Design, user interface, graphics, and layout
- Text, documentation, and educational content
are the exclusive intellectual property of SaathiMed Pvt. Ltd. and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and patent laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or reverse engineering is strictly prohibited.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SaathiMed Pvt. Ltd., its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Any health outcomes, injuries, or deaths resulting from reliance on AI-generated insights, teleconsultations, or any information from our platform
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill)
- Service interruptions, downtime, data inaccuracies, or technical failures
- Unauthorized access to or theft of your data (except where caused by our gross negligence)
- Actions or omissions of doctors using our platform (doctors are independent practitioners, not employees of SaathiMed)
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months, or ₹1,000 (whichever is greater).
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SaathiMed Pvt. Ltd., its directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your use of the Service (including AI-generated insights)
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including medical ethics and patient privacy
- Any content you upload or share through our platform
- Your violation of applicable laws, including the NMC Telemedicine Guidelines
15. Termination & Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason including:
- Violation of these Terms or any applicable laws
- Engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Providing false or misleading information (including false medical credentials for DoctorSaathi)
- Extended periods of inactivity (12+ months)
- At our discretion for operational, security, or business reasons
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Medical Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification) will survive.
16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Dispute Resolution Process:
- Informal Resolution: You agree to contact us at support@saathimed.com to attempt informal resolution before initiating any legal proceeding.
- Arbitration: Any unresolved disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

- Arbitration Language: English
- Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class or representative actions.
17. Force Majeure
SaathiMed shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental actions, pandemic/epidemic, internet outages, cyberattacks, labor strikes, or third-party service failures.
18. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SaathiMed regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
