PCOD cravings hitting at midnight? Help, I'm crying over chocolate and sneaking peanut butter 😭

Okay I need to rant and also ask for help because I'm literally losing my mind at 11:30 PM. The last three nights I've been sneaking into the kitchen like a thief to eat spoonfuls of peanut butter straight from the jar. And yesterday I actually cried because I was out of chocolate. Like, full-on sobbing over a Cadbury bar. My roommate thought I was having a breakdown. I mean, I kind of was.

This PCOD stuff is no joke. My doctor told me to cut down on sugar and I'm trying, I really am. But the cravings hit at midnight like a freight train and my willpower just... evaporates. Office me stress, hostel mess ka khana is all carbs and oil, so by night my body is screaming for something sweet. It's a vicious cycle. Then I feel guilty and can't sleep, which makes the mood swings worse the next day.

My mom keeps calling and saying "bas ek laddu khao, itna mat socho" but she doesn't get that one laddu turns into a whole tin. Family thinks I'm overreacting. Ugh.

Has anyone actually beaten these late-night cravings? Do I just drink warm water and suffer, or is there some desi trick that actually works? Please tell me I'm not the only one raiding the kitchen at 2 AM. 😭
