Winter Knee Pain Relief: 5 Ayurvedic Home Remedies
Winter ka mausam aate hi ghaton mein jakad, akadhan aur dard (knee joint pain) ki shikayat badh jaati hai. Khaaskar arthritis (sandhivata) ke mareezon ke liye yeh season bahut mushkil bhar hota hai. Thandak mein khoon ki nadiyaan (blood vessels) sikud jaati hain, jisse joints tak oxygen aur nutrients ki supply kam ho jaati hai. Iske alawa, winter mein Vata dosha (Ayurveda ke anusaar) badh jaata hai, jo sandhiyon mein rukhsapan aur dard ka karan banta hai. Aam taur par symptoms mein yeh shamil hain:
- Akadhan aur jakad: Subah uthne par knee joint mein jaise koi kila laga ho.
- Chubhan wala dard: Chalne ya jhukne par ghaton mein tez dard.
- Suajan (slight swelling): Ghaton ke aas-paas halki soojan.
- Thandak ka asar: Thande paani ya hawa se dard mein izafa.

1. Mahanarayan Tailam se Malish (Massage)
Ayurveda mein Mahanarayan Tailam ko sandhivata ke liye sanjivani maana gaya hai. Is tailam ko halka garam karein aur rozana raat ko sone se pehle ghaton ki halki malish karein. Yeh garmi dekar stiffness ko kam karta hai aur dard mein rahat deta hai. Agar Mahanarayan na mile toh sarso ka tail (mustard oil) mein lahsun (garlic) ki 4-5 kaliyaan garam karke bhi malish kar sakte hain.
2. Haldi aur Adrak ka Kadha (Turmeric-Ginger Tea)
Haldi mein curcumin hota hai, jo natural anti-inflammatory hai. Adrak bhi sandhiyon ki sujan kam karta hai. Ek glass paani mein aadha inch adrak (kaddukas karein) aur aadha chammach haldi powder daal kar 5-7 minute tak ubaalein. Ismein thoda sa shahad (honey) aur nimbu ka ras mila kar subah khaali pet peeyein. Yeh winter mein ghaton ke dard ke liye behtareen tonic hai.
3. Garmi ki Sekai (Heat Therapy)
Thandak se dard badhne par garm pani ki bottle ya hot towel se ghaton ki sekai karein. Yeh blood circulation badhata hai aur muscles ko relax karta hai. Din mein 2-3 baar 15-20 minute ki sekai dard mein kamaal ka aaraam degi.
4. Epsom Salt ka Garam Pani
Ek bucket garam paani mein 2-3 spoon Epsom salt (jisko aap medical store se le sakte hain) daal kar dono pairon ko 15-20 minute tak bhigo ke rakhein. Epsom salt mein magnesium hota hai jo sandhiyon ki sujan aur dard ko kam karta hai. Lekin agar aapko high BP ya heart problem hai toh pehle doctor se poochhein.
5. Ayurvedic Diet - Kya Khayen aur Kya Na Khayen
- Khaayein: Garm taseer wale cheezein jaise soup, dal, moong dal, haldi wala doodh, ghee, dry fruits (akhrot, badam), aur hara sabzi. Raat ko sone se pehle garm doodh mein haldi aur chutki bhar kali mirch daal kar peeyein.
- Na khaayein: Thandi cheezein jaise ice cream, cold drinks, fried foods, aur aalu se parhez karein kyunki yeh Vata aur inflammation dono ko badha sakte hain.
6. Yoga aur Light Exercise
Thandak mein aaram karna theek hai lekin poori tarah se bed rest bhi nuksaan karta hai. Halki walking, Ankle rotation aur cycling (air) jaise exercises joints ko flexible rakhti hain. Vajrasana aur Pawanmuktasana yoga asanas bhi faydemand hain, lekin agar dard ho toh turant rok dein.
Kab dikhayein Doctor ko? (When to Seek Medical Help)
Agar ghar ke upay karne ke baad bhi dard kam na ho, ya aapko tez sujan, lalima, bukhar, ya ghaton mein lagaatar akadhan ho toh doctor se zaroor milein.
